No widespread shutdowns in zinc unless prices fall 10-20%

Zincprices will have to fall a further 10-20% before producers shut down capacity on the scale seen recently in the aluminium market, accordingto analysts polled by Metal Bulletin. There have been several large-scale shutdowns in the aluminium market since London Metal Exchange prices began to retreat below marginal costs of production.
