Antimony leaves baijiu distiller with bad taste in mouth

While most metal markets rallied strongly at the start of the year as the USA stepped back from its fiscal cliff, antimony prices have got off to a torrid start. Standard grade II antimony prices are now $10,800-11,300 pertonne, down by 7.7% since the start ofthe year and at their lowest pointsince 0ctober 2010. That is the worst start to the year since 2003, and the steepest price decline since June 2011.
