Dahdaleh is charged with corruption offences in Alcoa, Alba dealings, SFO says

Dadco Group owner and chairman Victor Dahdaleh has been arrested and charged with corruption offences relatingto contracts for the supply of alumina to Bahrain between 2001 and 2005, the UK's Serious Fraud Office (SFO) said on October 24. The British-Canadian businessman is alleged to have made payments of bribes to officials at state-owned aluminium smelter Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), according to the SFO.
