The rising price of UK structural sections is squeezing the profits of companies in the country's construction industry, according to British Constructional Steelwork Association (BCSA) director-general Derek Tordoff. Tordoff told MB he thinks construction companies were not given enough notice about a recent price rise and cannot pass the increased costs down the supply chain.
