Europe: DAP buying activity slow through Q1

Combined European DAP imports for France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Romania, Spain and the UK in January/February 2016 were 374,000 mt, a 29% decline on the same period 2015, according to GTIS. France imported 188,000 mt DAP in the first quarter, a 9.6% decline year on year. Volumes from Russia/Lithuania increased to 103,000 mt from 98,000 mt, while volumes from Morocco declined to 6,000 mt from 60,000 mt.
