Offers for prilled and granular urea from exporters to traders seeking cover for quantities to load after the July 5 shipping deadline imposed by STC in India are suggested available down to $202/mt FOB. Mainstream exporters are still seeking higher returns, but with little success. Domestic prices are also softer on reduced demand for urea for direct application and limited purchasing by blenders/manufacturers of high-N grade NPKs in China. Demand for application on corn is below historical levels, increasing price-pressure on domestic prilled and granular urea.
