Mexico: Feb exports 91,016 mt incl Argentina cargo

Mexico exported 91,016 mt of sulphuric acid in February, down slightly from 95,751 mt in February 2015. The US remained the main destination for Mexican exports, taking 51,667 mt, most if not all of which was likely sourced from Grupo Mexico’s La Caridad smelter. Mexico also sent a further 20,000 mt to Morocco. The country exported 41,780 mt to Morocco in 2015 having effectively not exported acid cargoes there in prior years.
