Prices for sulphuric acid sales from East Asian smelters remained assessed at-$5-5/mt FOB Japan/South Korea, as spot market activity was limited. Sellers were mostly sold out and unable to meet enquiries from Southeast Asia netting back to positive FOB levels, although some have previously demonstrated a willingness to allocate some tonnes that would otherwise have gone to China at negative netbacks to meet the SE Asia demand.
