Pick up in ammonia activity while tight supply prevails

Ammonia transactions have picked up as traders move to cover contract commitments. Amid tight supply, one of these deals resulted in a $15/mt increase in values as Sabic sold 10,000 mt to Trammo at $355/mt FOB for late April/early May lifting. Weak demand remains a concern though, and suppliers are wary of additional spot volumes finding their way onto the market and effectively putting an end to upwards price momentum
