Japan’s September exports of sulphur increased 22% year on year to 119,024 mt, with the January-September total up 15% at 1.04 million mt. As is typical for Japan, the vast majority of the tonnes went to China, which took 85,158 mt in September and 899,986 mt over the first three quarters. The volume for the nine-month period was up 23% year on year.
