China: DAP deal quoted at $331/mt FOB

Traders in China have noted that at least one DAP deal has now been secured at $331/mt FOB from Hubei producers for sales to India. Still, the majority of traders report significant difficulty in purchasing from China at $333/mt FOB or lower, with most producers still pushing for $335-340/mt FOB for new sales. Traders Swiss Singapore and Ameropa are both understood to be sourcing DAP sales to India (made around $345/mt CFR) from Chinese sources, which would indicate a netback of $331-333/mt FOB for any trader margin.
