With high volumes of DAP/MAP arriving in Brazil during October and November ahead of a seasonal slowdown in demand, traders are now reportedly short-selling tonnage as low as $340/mt CFR. Some Brazilian buyers are believed to be calling for MAP 11-52 at $335-338/mt CFR for late November/December arrival but this has yet to be secured.
