Russia: Urea exports gain further in May

Russian exports of urea in May of 429,000 mt were up 17.8% on May 2015, but shipments to Brazil over the month were down 14% on the prior year to 118,000 mt as Middle East granular urea dominated in that market in May. Mexico was up to 50,000 mt from zero while Turkey was stable at 39,000 mt. Exports from EuroChem traded via the producer's Zug office were registered for 37,500 mt to "Switzerland", but the actual destinations were not identified. Guatemala was down 13% to 33,000 mt while Turkey was up 129% to 30,000 mt.
