No new spot sulphuric acid trades were confirmed to India this week despite some enquiries over the past two weeks. Tighter availability has driven up achievable prices. Traders in India were pegging spot prices as high as $25-30/mt CFR, above the contract price and well above the levels of $5-10/mt CFR they have been suggesting in recent weeks and the $1/mt CFR that buyers have been seeking.
