Brazil: 2015 imports up despite December plunge

Brazil’s December imports of sulphur plunged 49% year on year to 115,858 mt, though full-year volumes were still up very slightly at 2.04 million mt. The US was the source of 727,175 mt in 2015 for a 36% market share, though this volume was down 18% from 2014. Kazakhstan’s contribution inched down 3.6% as it supplied 453,416 mt for a 22% share.
