Prices for sulphuric acid sales from East Asian producers were assessed slightly lower on the week at-$5-5/mt FOB Japan/South Korea for spot and contract from-$5-9/mt previously. Spot market activity was relatively quiet, with a lack of new business reported. Although some argued that this was mainly due to the lack of availability and suggested demand was steady, others disagreed and viewed regional demand as relatively weak.
