Having opted to forego earlier offers in the upper $220s/mt CFR for 6-10,000 mt lots of prilled urea from China, La Filipina and Atlas secured cover around an even $220/mt CFR for a 6,000 mt lot, and marginally lower for a 10,000 mt cargo. Swire elected to go for granular material and booked a 20,000 mt parcel with Petronas for Subic Bay discharge. The exact price was not revealed, but local reports suggest a number somewhere between $210/mt and $215/mt CFR.
