Southeast Asia:Malaysia sees MOP price drop

Malaysian MOP prices have dropped to below$260/mt CFR as devaluation of the ringgit and continued tender delays have added to the country’s market pressure. Buyers still want to pay less and are reportedly waiting until the Malaysian price drops even further.As a result,some tenders are delayed from Q4 2015 and demand for potash has also decreased.Buyers are cautious to enter the market,which is also putting pressure on prices throughout Southeast Asia.
