Malaysia: Egypt loses phosphate rock market share

Malaysia imported 322,000 mt phosphate rock in the first ten months of 2015, a decline of 4.1% from the same period last year, according to customs data via GTIS. During the period, Egypt continues to be the largest provider after shipping 128,000 mt rock but its market share fell to 40% from 63% as product from Peru and Christmas Island increased.
