South Korea: H1 MOP imports down 8%

South Korea imported 47,968 mt MOP in June, a 54% increase from the same month in 2015. Despite this, January-June potash arrivals were still down 8% year on year at 315,208 mt, IHS Global Trade Atlas data show. In June, South Korea imported 31,362 mt MOP from Canpotex, up from 20,988 mt MOP in the same month last year. The country also received 10,300 mt from BPC and 6,305 mt from Laos.
