Turkey: DAP imports down 24% in 2015

Turkey imported just 5,000 mt DAP in December 2015, a fall from 50,000 mt in the same month a year earlier, according to GTIS data. During the month, JPMC shipped 4,000 mt and GCT loaded 1,000 mt. January to December DAP imports are now down 24% compared to the previous year, at 322,000 mt DAP. OCP increased sales to 122,000 mt from 44,000 mt, while JPMC reduced shipments to 86,000 mt from 126,000 mt. Tunisian loadings declined to 42,000 mt from 86,000 mt and Russian/Lithuanian shipments declined to 63,000 mt from 105,000 mt previously.
