China: Uralkali signs 600,000 mt MOP contract

Uralkali has agreed to sell 600,000 mt of firm contract quantities to the Chinese potash buying consortium between August 2016 and January 2017, the company announced August 29. The contract delivery price has been set at the market level in China, Uralkali said. BPC agreed to supply MOP to Chinese buyers at $219/mt CFR in mid-July.
