Southeast Asia: MOP down slightly in Thailand

Potash prices remain largely stable across Southeast Asia, although exporters to the market are still targeting increases in Malaysia and Indonesia while prices in Vietnam and Thailand are seeing slight downward adjustments. In both Malaysia and Indonesia, standard MOP prices are still pegged at around $210/mt CFR. Market participants in the latter are returning to business as usual following the Eid celebrations and one exporter this week described a slow increase in product enquiries from importers. BPC is still targeting sales of around $230-240/mt CFR in Malaysia and Indonesia.
