Hopes increased this week that the Talvivaara nickel mine in Finland may continue operations and ramp up production following its bankruptcy last year. Audley Capital Advisors, a UK-based investment and capital advisory firm, has entered into a conditional asset purchase agreement to acquire the assets of Talvivaara Sotkamo Ltd from its Bankruptcy Estate.
