Copper-Catalyzed Formation of C-O Bonds by Oxidative Coupling of Benzylic Alcohols with Ethers

摘要

The copper-catalyzed formation of C-O bonds by oxidative coupling of benzylic alcohols with ethers was realized in open air. A series of a-acyloxy ethers were obtained in good yields with aqueous tert-butyl hydroperoxide as the oxidant.
