China textile quotas

The European Commission published new guidelines last week clarifying the parameters it will use when considering protectionist measures against Chinese textile and clothing imports.While recognising concerns from European textile producers now quotas have been lifted,the Commission said protectionist measures must be objective,transparent and based on credible data.
