Sabic to build ethylene unit

Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (Sabic) has awarded Foster Wheeler an engineering,procurement and construction contract for its proposed petrochemical complex in Yanbu Industrial City,Saudi Arabia.The project,which was granted approval earlier this year (ECN11 Jan),will produce 3.8m tonne/year of ethylene,and undisclosed quantities of ethylene glycol,polyethylene,and polypropylene.
