APC aims to boost polymer capacity

Iran's Arak Petrochemical Company (APC)intends to increase the capacity of two of its polyolefin plants using Basell technology.The two expansion and technology licence agreements were signed between Basell and APC last month.Capacity for the first plant,which uses Basell's Spheripol process,will be increased by 50% by contractor Tecnimont and its Iranian partner Nargan Engineering.
