Faroe gets Norway well nod

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has granted Faroe Petroleum a drilling permit for exploration well 31/7-1 offshore Norway. Well 31/07-01 will be drilled by the Transocean Arctic rig in Production Licence 740 (PL 740). Faroe is the operator of PL 740 with a 50% stake, while Core Energy holds the other 50%.
