Magellan’s Amadeus Basin sale

Magellan Petroleum has sold all of its rights “to certain bonus payments related to the Mereenie field in the Amadeus Basin in Australia” to Macquarie Bank for US $2.5m. Magellan has entered into and completed a Sale and Purchase Deed with Macquarie to sell its rights to certain bonus payments, which are: based upon sales of hydrocarbons from the Mereenie field ranging from 2,500-10,000 boe/d; may range from $3.6m to cumulative potential payments of $12.7m for a purchase price of $2.5m.
