UK Catcher capex slashed

UK player Premier Oil has trimmed the capex for its Catcher field development project in the UK North Sea by 24% to US $1.7 Bn. The operator expects further cost reductions from the release of contingencies and allowances as “work scopes continue to be executed effi- ciently”.
