Tullow Oil plans to restart exploration and appraisal drilling at Kenya’s South Lokichar field in December. The operator sees an upside potential of more than 1 Bn bbl of recoverable oil, a senior official said. “A recent 3D survey shows additional upside potential,” Tim O’Hanlon, vice president for Tullow’s Africa operations told delegates at the Africa Oil Week conference in Cape Town, Reuters reported.
