SDFI value dips by a third

Norway’s state’s direct financial interest (SDFI) in oil and gas licences on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) has declined by more than a third in the past two years due to low oil prices. An external evaluation done for the Norwegian Oil Ministry showed that the value of SDFI has dropped to US $97.9 Bn (NOK 810 Bn) from a pre- vious estimate of $148.7 Bn (NOK 1.23 Trn).
