Xcite gets UK Bentley boost

The UK Oil & Gas Authority (OGA), the Secretary of State for the Department of Energy and Climate Change has extended Xcite Energy’s P.1078 licence containing the Bentley field in the North Sea until 30 June 2017. Xcite added that following a review of the proj- ect, including revised contactor quotes, the Bentley field’s development cost have been trimmed to around US $30/bbl.
