Partners Statoil and Shell have formally decided to delay the concept decision for the Bressay heavy oil development project offshore the UK, according to reports. The Bressay project’s economics are looking tough in the prevailing low oil price environment and challenging market conditions so the opera- tors have opted to put the project on ice.
