Wintershall’s Brage faults

Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) has carried out an audit of Wintershall’s electrical installations on the offshore Brage platform – and regulatory violations were detected. “The objective of the audit was to inspect how the company is complying with the regulations relating to working in and operating electrical installations. The audit gave special emphasis to how Wintershall works with electrical installations and those parts of the company’s management system that comprise the roles, responsibilities and duties of the personnel responsible for elec- trical plant during its design engineering, opera- tion, modification and maintenance,” the PSA said.
