Cooper Energy reports that the Butlers-9 oil appraisal well located in PPL 245 in the Cooper Basin, South Australia has found only “minor hydrocarbon shows”. “The well is being plugged and abandoned after reaching a total depth of 1,810m (5,939ft) in the Merrimelia formation.
