Italy’s Eni has made a gas and condensates discovery on the Nkala Marine prospect in the Marine XII Block around 20km offshore Congo. The find also lies just 3km from the Nene Marine field, which is already in production, Eni said. The Nkala Marine 1 well has discovered what Eni said “is expected to have a potential of 250m- 350m boe in place”.
