Det norske oljeselskap has received consent to use the Transocean Winner semisubmersible rig for production drilling and completion on the Volund oi l field offshore Norway. Volund lies in the central Norwegian North Sea around 10km south of the Alvheim field at a water depth of around 120-130m (394-427ft).
