Trinidad logs ‘encouraging’

Range Resources has registered “highly encour- aging” initial log evaluations on the MD 250 devel- opment well in Trinidad that have identified “mul- tiple hydrocarbon bearing zones” that will be tested to evaluate the well’s producing potential. The operator will start a production testing pro- gramme by perforating and testing four sand intervals located in the lower zone of the well between 1,021m (3,350ft) and 1,189m (3,900ft) with an estimated net pay of over 12m (40ft). The rele- vant approvals have been submitted to the regula- tory bodies in Trinidad, Range said.
