Williams Partners has been handed a deal from Shell and Nexen Petroleum to provide deepwater gas gathering services to the Appomattox devel- opment in the US Gulf of Mexico (GoM). Appomattox is located 129km offshore Louisiana at a water depth of around 2,194m (7,200ft).
