Brazil’s state player Petrobras has completed the formation test on ultra-deepwater well 3-BRSA- 1286-SES in Block BM-SEAL-11 in Brazil’s Sergipe-Alagoas Basin. Drilling has confirmed two light oil and gasbearing compartments: the upper one is 44m (144ft) thick while the lower one is 11m (36ft) thick. The second compartment represents a new discovery for the area.
