Technip bags Malaysia EPIC

France’s Technip has won an Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning (EPIC) contract from Petronas Carigali for the D18 development project offshore East Malaysia. The deal includes the procurement and instal - lation of two 8-inch water injection flexible pipes totalling 9.5km. The flexible pipes will connect three fixed jacket platforms of the existing D18 facilities offshore Sarawak, East Malaysia. The water depth is 36m (118ft).
