Indonesia is gearing up to offer 11 conventional and non-conventional blocks, a senior official at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) told the Jakarta Globe. The tender for the 11 blocks is expected to be launched later this month, with awards scheduled for November. The MEMR is employing an online scheme in this tender in order to ensure a transparent bidding process and minimise the opportunity for the tender team to be in contact with participants, the report said.
