Celtic Sea Midleton spud

Lansdowne Oil & Gas reports that the Midleton gas exploration well in the Celtic Sea offshore southern Ireland has been spudded. The exploration well is being carried by partner Kinsale Energy, a unit of Malaysia’s state-owned Petronas. The Midleton well lies in the SEL 4/07 licence and is being drilled by the Ocean Guardian semisubmersible rig.
