Otto Energy reports that the Hawkeye-1 exploration well in the Palawan Basin offshore the Philippines encountered hydrocarbons but at “the very low end of expectations”. The well was drilled to the planned total depth of 2,920m (9,581ft). The top reservoir was intersected at 2,710m (8,892ft).
