Cairn Energy said today that its Catcher and Kraken developments in the UK North Sea are on track for first oil from 2017. First steel cutting for the Catcher Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel hull began in H1 2015 and development drilling is scheduled to begin in the second half this year, following installation of the first phase of subsea drilling templates.
