Statoil’s Aasta Hansteen project offshore Norway is gathering pace and along with the Polarled development project is set to have significant spinoff effects in the north of Norway. The two projects are set to ensure jobs for around 200 people on the Helgeland coast, Statoil said. Most of these jobs are located in Mo i Rana, where Momek is constructing 32 suction anchors for Subsea 7 for the Aasta Hansteen project.
