SSE’s $883m UK deal with Total

SSE E&P UK has entered into a US $883.5m deal with Total E&P UK to acquire equity in the Greater Laggan Area offshore the UK and the Shetland Gas Plant. The deal includes a 20% stake in the four gas fields and surrounding exploration acreage around 125km northwest of the Shetland Islands (collectively known as the Greater Laggan Area) and a 20% interest in the new Shetland Gas Plant.
