India’s state-owned GAIL has re-launched a US $7 Bn tender for up to nine LNG carriers, according to reports. GAIL re-issued the tender for charter hiring of the nine ships, quoted in three lots of three, with one ship in each lot to be built at an Indian shipyard, reported The Economic Times.
